As long as counseling is beneficial to the individual seeking the therapy, it is appropriate to continue services. Some clients I may only see 2-3 times, others may be long term.

Initially the recommendation for optimal success is to see clients weekly. However, if less often is requested that can be accommodated as well. Over time, the frequency of sessions tends to decrease. In other words we start meeting weekly, then bi-weekly, maybe every three weeks, then perhaps monthly or every other month. Finally the last stage may just be quarterly or on as needed basis.

Presently I accept United Healthcare/Optum, Cigna/Evernorth, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Florida Blue & Tricare.  I can also provide a form as an Out-of-network provider which you can submit to insurance. They may cover part or all of the session.

For payments clients are asked

to pay by credit card when possible. Other forms of accepted payment are cash and check.
